Russian State Agrarian University - Moscow Agricultural Academy named after K.A. Timiryazev was founded in 1865. Training of foreign citizens at the University has been conducted since 1946, the number of graduates - citizens of foreign countries - more than 5500 people. Currently, about 14,000 students study at the Timiryazev RSAU-Moscow Agricultural Academy, of which more than 850 are foreign citizens. The University includes the following institutes: economics and management of the agro-industrial complex; mechanics and power engineering named after V.P. Goryachkina; melioration, water management and construction named after A.N. Kostyakov; faculties: agronomy and biotechnology; zootechnics and biology; Faculty of Soil Science, Agrochemistry and Ecology; technological; horticulture and landscape architecture; humanitarian and pedagogical; Preparation at the university is conducted in 37 bachelor's programs, 32 master's programs and 43 educational programs in graduate school. The University is actively involved in the integration and development of international relations in the field of agricultural education and science, has agreements with universities and research centers in more than 40 countries. All foreign citizens studying at the university are provided with a place in a hostel. At the disposal of students is a sports complex with a stadium and a swimming pool, the State House of Culture and the Central Scientific Library.
