Siberian State Industrial University (SibSIU) is one of the oldest engineering universities in Siberia, founded in 1930. During its existence, the university has trained more than 75 thousand specialists. SibGIU is a unique university complex, compactly located on a separate territory in the center of the city of Novokuznetsk. Currently, training is being conducted under bachelor's, master's, and postgraduate programs in priority areas of innovative development of economics and technology: information technology and automated systems, geotechnology, new materials technologies, urban planning and architecture, economics and management, pedagogical education. SibGIU students are actively working on innovative projects in modern laboratories, under the guidance of experienced mentors, they implement their own projects, participate in the mining and metallurgical championships "Case-in" and "MetalCup" at the regional and all-Russian level. The University participates in the all-Russian student movement "Student Spring", international sports competitions, among the graduates of the Siberian State University are world-class athletes.
